TRP Voice — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
TRP Voice is a browser extension that lets you click a phone number on a web
page to place a call through your TRP Voice phone service. This policy
explains what the extension accesses, what it sends, and what it does not do.
The short version:
- The extension reads the text of pages you visit only to find phone numbers, and does so on your device. Page content is never sent to us or anyone else.
- It sends your sign-in details to the TRP Voice server only when you log in, to authenticate you.
- When you click a number to call, it sends that phone number (and your session token) to place the call.
- It does not track your browsing, show ads, or sell data.
What the extension accesses
- Web page content (locally): a content script scans page text to detect phone numbers and add a click-to-call button. This happens entirely in your browser; the extension does not transmit, store, or log the pages you visit or their contents.
- Your login credentials (at sign-in only): sent over HTTPS to the TRP Voice backend to authenticate you with your phone provider. Not stored by the extension.
- A session token (stored locally): kept in your browser's local extension storage so you stay signed in. Clear it any time by logging out.
What the extension sends, and to whom
The extension communicates only with the TRP Voice backend
(https://n8n.trpcomm.com). It sends: (1) at login, your username and
password; (2) when you place a call, the phone number you clicked and your session
token. It does not send your browsing history, the pages you visit, or their contents.
Data storage and security
- The extension stores only a session token locally in your browser.
- On the server, your phone-service access tokens are stored encrypted; the administrative tooling cannot read them.
- All communication uses HTTPS.
What we do not do
- No advertising or analytics/tracking.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties.
- No collection of browsing history or page content.
Data retention
Call records (the number dialed, time, and your account) are retained by the TRP
Voice service for operational and billing purposes. Login sessions expire automatically.
Your choices
Log out at any time to clear the stored session token. To stop all page scanning,
remove the extension from your browser.
